Sientra BioCorneum Scar Treatment with SPF 30 Silicone Gel

BioCorneum, the only scar treatment with advanced Silishiled painted crosslinking silicone and SPF 30 protection, is designed to prevent and minimize the appearance of hypertrophic scars and keloids. It is effective for scars resulting from surgical procedures, trauma, wounds, burns, and can be used on both old and new scars. The recommended treatment time for new scars is 60 days, and for older scars, 90 days.

To use BioCorneum, ensure the area is clean and dry before applying a thin, even layer twice a day (morning and night) over the scar. Allow it to dry completely before covering or exposing it to the sun. For optimal results, wait 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. Once dry, BioCorneum can be covered with pressure garments, clothing, cosmetics, or additional sunscreen as needed. It is safe for children over the age of 6 months.
